Using it well
Work in short sessions with light pressure and follow the direction the coat grows. Pressing hard or going over the same patch repeatedly can irritate the skin underneath, which is the usual reason a dog starts avoiding the brush.
Care
Pull loose hair out of the pins after each session and rinse the head under warm water if it needs it. Dry fully before putting it away. Do not put in the dishwasher.
