Worth knowing
Put an enclosed bed somewhere with its back to a wall and a clear view of the room. A cave bed in the middle of a floor gets ignored; the same bed in a corner gets slept in. Give a nervous cat a week or two before deciding it does not like it.
Care
Check the label before machine washing — hooded beds hold their shape with stiffened panels and some are spot-clean only. Air dry fully and reshape the hood while it dries.
