How to use it well

• Dry food only. Wet food will not feed through and will spoil in the hopper.
• Keep an eye on portions. A gravity feeder keeps food available all day, and plenty of cats will eat all of it. If your pet tends to put weight on, measure the day's ration into the hopper rather than filling it to the top.
• Empty it between refills. Do not top up on top of old food. Tip out what is left, wash the hopper and start fresh.
• Change the water daily. Water sitting in a closed reservoir goes stale faster than water in an open bowl.

Care

Take it apart and wash weekly with warm soapy water, paying attention to the neck where food drops through. Dry fully before refilling. Do not put in the dishwasher.
